Welcome to the School of Management!

With the joint effort of all faculty staff over the past 20 years, the school of management at GDUT has rapidly expanded its variety of programs both in terms of the undergraduate and post-graduate studies, as well as enhances its intake of the best and brightest students at all levels. We have received a doctorate conferred, provincial key disciplines, high-level university key disciplines, and other series of remarkable achievements, and have now developed into an influential management school in Guangdong.

"Serving the local economy and contributing to the social developments of Guangdong" is the core value we intend to deliver throughout our teaching and academic activities. The school equips students with the vision and practical skills necessary to become successful business leaders in Pearl River Delta and the greater China region. In addition to the academic programs with bachelor, master and doctorial degree, we also offer professional post-graduate programs, such as MBA and MPAcc.

The school of management has a large pool of talented staff. In recent years, the overall strength of the faculty members has significantly enhanced through a batch of "academic upgrade", "overseas training", and "high-level talents introduction" programs. More than 100 experts and teachers, including Guangdong "teaching excellence" teachers, “Nanyue” excellent teachers, Guangdong "1000-100-10 talents program" talents, and Guangdong outstanding young teachers, are engaging in the teaching and academic activities.

We have class-one doctoral discipline (Management Science and Engineering) and postdoctoral research station, class-two doctoral discipline (Industrial Enterprise Management), provincial preponderant key discipline (Management Science and Engineering), and provincial featured key discipline (Business Administration). We also have the Guangdong province key research base of humanities and social sciences (Industry Enterprise Management and Innovation Research Center). Meanwhile, the school is responsible for the operation of the Guangdong Society of System Engineering and the Guangdong Association of Technology Economics and Modern Management. The disciplinary strength and academic platform of our school are at the forefront compared with most other universities in the province.

In 2015, the management discipline of our school was listed as the key discipline in the "Guangdong high-quality universities plan". We ushered in the new round of development opportunity. All staff and students will work together, forge ahead, and strive to fulfill the goal of building a high-level university. At the same time, we sincerely welcome high-level talents and innovative teams from both domestic and foreign universities/institutions to join our fast expanding and rapidly growing school of management at GDUT.

学院拥有近二十年历史，经过了广工大管理学院全体教师的奋斗，广东工业大学管理学院先后获得博士学位授予权、省级重点学科、高水平大学重点建设学科等一系列令人瞩目的成绩，目前已经发展成为省内在管理领域具有重要影响力的院系之一。

“服务广东经济、为广东社会发展做贡献”是广工大管理学院全体师生的基本信念，贯穿于学院教学和科研工作中。管理学院每年为珠三角乃至全国输送大量应用型本科人才和优秀硕士、博士研究生人才，同时开展MBA、MPAcc等专业硕士学位教育，培养企业高级管理人员；学院通过产学研合作等手段每年为大量企业、特别是中小企业提供管理咨询服务，为广东省、广州市等各级政府单位和行业协会提供大量决策咨询和政策建议。

管理学院拥有一支充满活力、锐意进取的师资团队。近年来，学院通过学历提升计划、海外进修计划和高层次人才引进计划，师资队伍整体实力不断加强，结构进一步优化，国际化水平明显提升。目前有由广东省教学名师、南粤优秀教师、广东省“千百十”工程培养对象、广东省优秀青年教师等名师名家组成的一百多位专职教师战斗在教学和科研第一线。

管理学院已经拥有“管理科学与工程”一级博士点和博士后流动站、“工业企业管理”二级学科博士点、“管理科学与工程”省级优势重点学科、“企业管理”省级特色重点学科，建有“工业企业管理创新研究中心”广东省人文社科重点研究基地，同时负责广东省系统工程学会、广东省技术经济和管理现代化研究会的日常运营工作，学科实力和科研平台在省内兄弟院校中位居前列。

2015年我校管理学科被列为广东省高水平大学重点建设学科，我院迎来了新一轮跨越发展的历史性机遇，我院全体师生员工将齐心协力、开拓进取，努力完成高水平大学建设目标，同时真诚希望国内外优秀人才加入我们，为把我校管理学科建设成为“国内一流、世界知名”的管理学科而共同奋斗。
